The programme includes two of Dvořák's Slavonic Dances, showcasing rich Bohemian harmonies that blend delicate melodies with energetic passages, alongside Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3, a distinctive work notable for its serene central section framed by spirited outer movements. The concert concludes with Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 'From the New World', a celebrated composition that fuses Slavic traditions with American influences and has captivated audiences since its 1893 premiere. A free pre-concert talk with Tianyi Lu takes place at 6:00pm in the auditorium.
