The Magic Suitcase

The Magic Suitcase is an interactive storytelling and craft session designed for children under five and their carers. Hosted by Debutots at Nottingham Central Library, this event combines songs, actions, and an original story to explore words and languages from around the world.

The session begins in the Immersive Room, where participants will discover a magical suitcase that transports them to destinations across the globe. Following the storytelling, families move to the creative lab to design and decorate their own suitcases. The event concludes with a treasure hunt through the Children's Library, where participants search for books and clues connected to the Magic Suitcase and World Language Day.

While designed for under-fives, siblings aged up to seven years are welcome to participate. One adult per family is required to attend the full session.
