Nottingham Central Library presents the final instalment of the Creators in Residence programme, featuring poet, filmmaker and feminist activist Kate MacAlister. This workshop series explores feminist folklore and poetry in partnership with Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature, supported by Libraries Connected and Arts Council England.
In this session, participants will create collage poems using archival materials and historical narratives of witches and feminist activism. The workshop develops confidence in experimenting with text and images whilst exploring new approaches to artistic expression. Attendees will leave with tangible creative work and experience of an inclusive space for artistic exploration.
This is the third in a series of three Saturday workshops. Drop in to this session or join all three sessions running across January and February 2026.
