'I Had a Wheelbarrow' A play by the Television Workshop

Legendary local institution The Television Workshop has created a new play which should be a great experience for any Notts person, even those with just a passing interest in football. I Had A Wheelbarrow is a play about Notts County FC, set entirely in Meadow Lane during a 90 minute match, exploring themes of family and community. It’s happening at The Nest, which is the club’s, still relatively young, dedicated fanzone and a versatile multi-purpose venue. The live cast are Workshop members aged between 11 and 40, and there’s some famous faces involved too like Vicky McClure, Joe Dempsie, Michael Socha, Aisling Loftus and Shane Meadows.
