The Long Ryders return to Metronome for a live performance on Tuesday 13 October 2026. Emerging from the Los Angeles scene in the 1980s, the band established themselves as pioneers of alt-country, blending punk energy with country-rock harmonies. Their influential work includes acclaimed albums Native Sons and State of Our Union, which helped define the genre and inspired subsequent generations of Americana artists.

Characterized by 12-string guitars, thoughtful songwriting, and a roots-driven approach, The Long Ryders bridged traditional country and contemporary rock. Following their 2019 release Psychedelic Country Soul, the band recently completed September November, their first studio album since bassist Tom Stevens's passing. The group continues to deliver engaging live performances that showcase their extensive catalog and enduring musicianship.
