Metronome is NTU’s nationally recognised centre for music, moving image, gaming, live performance and spoken word. Located in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter, this state‑of‑the‑art 400‑capacity venue (228 seated) hosts an ambitious and diverse cross‑media programme spanning gigs, screenings, talks, and experimental arts. 

Designed as both an educational hub and a professional performance space, Metronome supports artists, students, and creatives with world‑class facilities including recording studios, rehearsal rooms and advanced production spaces. By night, it becomes a vibrant cultural hotspot, welcoming national and international performers while showcasing emerging talent from NTU’s creative community and beyond.
