About this event

The Hallé Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell, presents a concert celebrating the music of the 1980s. This programme features orchestrated arrangements of iconic pop and rock classics from the decade, including works by Rick Astley, Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Queen, George Michael, and David Bowie. The concert draws inspiration from memorable moments including the 1985 Live Aid benefit concert at Wembley and includes selections from popular 80s film soundtracks.

Tickets are priced from £13, with booking opening to subscribers on Tuesday 26 May at 10am, followed by multibuys on Monday 1 June at 10am, and general sale on Monday 8 June at 10am.
