The Down for the Count Swing Orchestra returns with their seasonal concert, Swing into Christmas. This 30-piece ensemble performs festive and classic selections in the style of legendary artists including Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday. Under the direction of conductor Mike Paul-Smith, the band features accomplished UK vocalists and instrumentalists performing fresh arrangements of seasonal favourites and timeless standards.
The programme includes Let It Snow, This Christmas, New York New York and a selection of other beloved songs, performed in authentic big-band-with-strings style. The ensemble has performed at prestigious venues including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, The London Jazz Festival and Cadogan Hall. Suitable for audiences of all ages. Tickets from £27.50.
