Ben Folds brings his Paper Airplane Request Tour to Nottingham, offering an interactive concert experience. Audiences are invited to write their favourite Ben Folds song requests on paper, fold them into airplanes, and launch them toward the stage. Attendees may bring pre-made paper airplanes or create them on-site using materials provided at the merchandise table.
An Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter, Folds has built a diverse musical catalogue spanning pop albums with Ben Folds Five, solo releases, and collaborative projects. He performs regularly with major symphony orchestras and has created music for film, television, and theatre, including original compositions for Apple TV's animated Peanuts specials. Folds served eight years as Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and remains active in advocating for arts funding and music education through organisations including Americans For The Arts.
