About this event
The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Nil Venditti, presents an evening of classical works at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall. The programme features Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 4, performed by acclaimed French horn soloist Ben Goldscheider, alongside Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture and Symphony No. 5 'Reformation'. The concert also includes a contemporary work, Clara by Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz, which blends traditional and modern musical languages. A free pre-concert talk with conductor Nil Venditti takes place at 6:20pm in the auditorium. This performance marks Venditti's Nottingham debut.
