After Hours: ReedWood brings together two accomplished Nottingham musicians for an evening of musical exploration. Saxophonist, pianist and EWI player Alistair Parnell joins guitarist Owen Jones to present reimagined favourites spanning a century of music. The programme draws from late-night jazz traditions, incorporating tango arrangements by Piazzolla, swing standards from Reinhardt and Grappelli, and unexpected musical directions. The Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI) features prominently, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience this distinctive sound in performance.
Tickets are priced at £5. This late-night event follows The Hallé's earlier concert, with start times varying accordingly. Ticket holders for The Hallé performance receive complimentary entry to this After Hours show.
