With nine studio albums spanning two decades, Hawley has garnered two Mercury Prize nominations and a Brit Award nomination, establishing himself as a significant voice in modern music.

His achievements extend beyond recording, with Hawley receiving a South Bank Award in 2007 and, most recently, two prestigious Olivier Awards in 2023 for Best Musical and Best Music for Standing At The Sky's Edge, which premiered at the National Theatre and The Crucible in Sheffield.
