THWACK! brings orchestral punk to The Grove, fusing camp aesthetics with political commentary and infectious grooves. Formed in London in 2022, the band delivers queer theatricality alongside raw musical energy. The evening features three distinct acts: THWACK!'s unabashed performances, Cheap Dirty Horse—a Nottingham-based folk-punk ensemble blending acoustic and electric instruments with protest-driven lyrics, and Gender Envy, a pop-punk outfit crafting songs for their younger selves. This showcase offers an eclectic mix of punk-influenced music with queer perspectives and authentic storytelling.
