Emerging from Toledo, Ohio during the early 2000s Detroit garage rock revival, the band carved their own path alongside contemporaries like The White Stripes and The Detroit Cobras, drawing inspiration from John Lee Hooker, The Gun Club, and Sister Rosetta Thorpe.
