Long Eaton has a proud history of community driven music festivals, stretching all the way back to the 1930s Hospital Carnival, which raised funds for—yes—our local hospitals. Nearly a century later, the Long Eaton Music Festival is continuing that same spirit of togetherness, creativity, and charitable fundraising.
Canaan Calling!
Our inaugural festival on 4th July 2026 will raise vital funds for the Canaan Trust, supporting people facing homelessness. At the same time, it will showcase the very best of our emerging local music talent—hopefully under a bright, sun filled summer sky.
What to Expect
The festival is split into two ticketed sessions:
• Afternoon Session (2–6pm) — All ages welcome
• Evening Session (7–11pm) — Adults only
Each session features eight acts:
• Four acoustic solo/duo performers
• Four full main stage acts
Weather permitting, the acoustic stage will be set up outdoors in the fantastic space behind the Soldiers & Sailors, with food, face painting and more. The main stage will be inside the large back room, complete with its own stage and bar.
