About this event
An Afternoon of Indie returns to Saltbox Bar for a four-hour celebration of independent music. Hosted by Old School Indie, Feeling Gloomy, and Age Against The Machine, this event brings together DJs who specialise in indie classics spanning seven decades.
From 1970s punk through to early 2000s alternative rock, the curated selection features iconic artists including David Bowie, The Smiths, Blur, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, and Joy Division, alongside rock, soul, ska, and northern soul. The afternoon provides a dedicated space for indie enthusiasts aged 30 and over to enjoy quality music and conversation.
Taking place from 3pm to 7pm, attendees can enjoy drinks throughout, with the option to continue into the evening or depart at their convenience. Please bring valid ID.
