Honouring Miles Kent through music, compassion and community.
On 15 August 2026, the Miles Kent Foundation, founded by the Kent family, is hosting a special music festival to celebrate the life of their son Miles, who passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer last year.
A talented musician, music producer and guitar technician, Miles touched the hearts of many through his love of music and made friends across the industry and beyond. Many artists playing the show had close links with Miles, including local Pop Punk heroes Catch Fire, who are returning to the stage for a special performance. The festival will be headlined by heavy metal giants Heriot, who recently appeared in NME's 100 list.
Other bands on the bill include:
Stage One: Rescue Rooms
Stage Two (Red Rooms)
Proceeds from the event will go towards two causes close to Miles' heart:
The Christie Charity - helping to support the development of cancer prevention, treatment, research, and education through investment in staff, equipment, facilities, and other support services. The Christie Charity provided treatment for Miles' Appendiceal Cancer.
A local Nottingham-based music initiative in Miles' name, providing opportunities for young people to access instruments, lessons, and creative spaces - empowering the next generation of musicians just as Miles dreamed.
