Vipertime brings their distinctive blend of modal jazz, post-punk and dub to Peggy's Skylight, joined by Troy Osmond of Moron Butler for this collaborative performance. The Leeds-based four-piece, known for their saxophone, bass and twin drum sets, performs material from their new album alongside their established catalogue. Drawing influences from Gang Of Four, The Pop Group and Can, the performance balances jazz abstractions with post-punk edge, featuring Osmond's vocal delivery and spoken-word contributions layered over hard-hitting rhythms.
Doors open at 7pm with performance from 8pm to 10pm, including an interval.
