A New York-born, Boston-bred musician, Groover Jr has established himself as a significant voice in contemporary jazz. His approach seamlessly blends genres while maintaining respect for jazz tradition. His education at Berklee College of Music, where he studied under recognised figures including Terri Lyne Carrington and Miguel Zenon, shaped his artistic development. As a bandleader, Groover Jr has released multiple albums including his Criss Cross Records debut Lovabye (2024) and its follow-up Old Knew (2024).
