The Living Map: Nottingham offers an interactive exploration of the city centre through an innovative 3D printed model at Nottingham Central Library. Developed by the University of Nottingham's City as Lab initiative and the School of Geography, this award-winning model uses dynamic projection to reveal multiple layers of urban information, including green spaces, flood risks, and development patterns.
Visitors will discover how different data perspectives and analytical approaches can reshape understanding of Nottingham's geography and urban landscape. Part of Green Week programming, these sessions demonstrate the practical applications of cartographic innovation and contemporary urban research.
