Creators in Residence showcase - International Women's Day

Join Nottingham Central Library for the final event in the Creators in Residence program, celebrating International Women's Day on Saturday 7 March 2026. The evening marks the launch of 'Coven', a new feminist folklore zine created by participants in the residency programme led by poet and activist Kate MacAlister, in partnership with Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature.

The showcase features readings from selected poets, an open mic session for guests, and a performance by Georgina Wilding, author of Hag Stone and Nottingham's first young poet laureate. Doors open at 18:30, with refreshments available throughout the evening. Five Leaves bookstall and community information stalls will be present. The event is seated.
