The Rezillos are a punk and new wave band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1976. Rising to prominence through BBC Radio 1's John Peel, the group established themselves with memorable singles including 'I Can't Stand My Baby', 'My Baby Does Good Sculptures', and 'Destination Venus'.
Their debut album 'Can't Stand the Rezillos' was recorded at New York's Power Station studio and reached the UK top 10, becoming recognised as a significant punk release. The band's creative period saw them engage with the New York music scene, including performances at the legendary CBGB's venue.
