Nouvelle Vague, the bossa nova project founded by Marc Collin and the late Olivier Libaux in 2003, returns to the UK in Spring 2027. The group celebrates the release of their seventh album, A Date with Depeche Mode, marking their first project dedicated entirely to reinterpreting a single artist's catalogue.
Thirteen Depeche Mode tracks have been recreated and reimagined through Nouvelle Vague's distinctive lens. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro with Brazilian musicians, the album creates a dialogue between Brazilian musical traditions and Depeche Mode's electronic heritage. The lead single, 'Enjoy the Silence', features vocals from Skye Edwards of Morcheeba and Larry Love of Alabama 3, demonstrating the fresh arrangements throughout the record.
