Martin Stephenson & The Daintees, hailing from the North East of England, emerged onto the music scene in 1982 with their debut single 'Roll On Summertime' on Kitchenware Records. Following television appearances on Channel 4's 'The Tube' and BBC2's 'Whistle Test', their 1986 debut album 'Boat To Bolivia' established them as significant contributors to the era's independent music landscape.
The band returns to perform material from their 1988 album 'Gladsome, Humour & Blue', which showcased standout tracks including 'There Comes A Time' and 'Wholly Humble Heart'.
