Come Work In Our Factories explores three thousand years of working lives through a live performance by Dean Fraser. The one-hour show presents stories from ordinary workers across different eras, from the Industrial Revolution through to the early development of the IT industry. The performance combines narrative with humour and historical insight, examining the human side of industrial and technological change.
This event includes time for audience questions and discussion following the performance, along with the opportunity to purchase copies of Dean Fraser's books. The event appeals to those interested in social history, industrial heritage, poetry, and storytelling.
