In the centenary year of Highfields Park’s opening to the public, this talk by researchers from the University’s School of Geography tells the story of the lake. It combines historical materials from University of Nottingham Manuscripts and Special Collections about the design and use of the lake with the findings of ongoing scientific monitoring of water quality.
