The Telescopes bring their distinctive blend of shoegaze, space rock and dream pop to Billy Bootleggers this September. Led by founder Stephen Lawrie, the band's current four-piece lineup includes Darrell Carter on guitar, Robert Prest on bass and John Lynch on drums, creating layered soundscapes that draw comparisons to Spaceman 3, My Bloody Valentine and A Place To Bury Strangers.
Known for expanding musical boundaries across genres, The Telescopes craft an immersive live experience combining stone age beats with outsider sensibilities. Their performances are characterised by rich instrumentation and atmospheric depth. This Nottingham date promises to showcase the band's evolving sound, with special guests to be announced.
