Writing for Life is a creative careers event designed for young people aged 14-25, taking place on Tuesday 10 March 2026 at Wollaton Hall and Park. The twilight event brings together writing professionals from diverse backgrounds to demonstrate how creative language skills apply across various career paths.
Participants will engage in talks and practical activities led by confirmed speakers including Holly Wilson from Orion Publishing Group, award-winning screenwriter Sara Bodinar, and poet Ben MacPherson. The event concludes with an open forum where attendees can visit stalls hosted by local organisations including Nottingham City of Literature and Nottingham Trent University to explore further opportunities and career pathways in writing-related fields.
Tickets cost £3; accompanying adults with under-16s are admitted free. Parking charges apply. For more information, visit wollatonhall.org.uk/writing-for-life
