Get ready to clap your hands - our musical storytelling adventure is about to begin!
Join children's author Sabrina Shah as she takes you on a musical journey with Roohi, that will have your little ones clapping along every step of the way.
"To play the music of the mountains, you must feel the rhythm, feel the beat of your people."
Roohi is practising her instrument for a school Eid concert, but even with lessons everyday, she sounds nothing like grandpa's clap-de-clap-clap rhythm and beautiful melodies.
Can Roohi draw on her ancestors' strength and share the melody in her heart at the concert?
This rhythm filled story explores themes of courage, bravery and family connections as we follow Roohi try and master her skill and overcome her nerves to play The Music Of The Mountains.
This storytelling session is suitable for children 4-7 years old. Children will enjoy art and crafts, learning about a new instrument and perhaps even try to make their own.
