Join us this summer holidays to celebrate the release of Medusa Gorgon's Deadly Side Eye with author Bethany Walker and illustrator Katie Abey!

This fun and interactive session will include drawing, crafts and plenty of Medusa Mayhem!

Meddy G is back for a new term at school, and unlike last time, everything it TOTALLY fine...She's finally settled into the twenty-first century life and everything is going well ... apart from her stress levels which are worse than ever, so much so that she accidentally turns one of her teachers to stone!

You see, Medusa may be living in the twenty-first century, but she's still the famous Medusa Gorgon from ancient Greece. And it seems that her teenage angst comes served with a stoney side-eye.  To make matters worse, when new boy Percy shows up, she seems to go into a very strange daze. Meddy can't understand why her words get muddled and her cheeks heat up everytime she's around him.  But little does she know that Percy has been send by Athena to cause yet more chaos in Medusa's new life. Because Percy is actually Perseus, and he's been sent on a mission to take Meddy G down for good...

Bethany Walker is the author of funny books for children. Before becoming a children's writer, Bethany worked in museum education at some very weird and wonderful places. She lives in Lincolnshire with her husband and two children.

Katie Abey is a Derbyshire-based illustrator of quirky, vibrant and colourful characters. Katie’s beautifully weird and wonderful illustrations are designed to uplift, with a humorous twist that’s both eye-catching and relatable. She’s illustrated over 70 children’s books… and counting!
