This stage adaptation brings the psychological thriller Single White Female to life, exploring themes of trust, obsession, and belonging in a modern setting. Recently divorced Allie advertises for a flatmate to help manage single parenthood while launching her tech startup. When the seemingly perfect lodger Hedy arrives, their lives become increasingly intertwined, and the arrangement begins to unravel in unexpected ways.
Adapted by Rebecca Reid and updated for the social media age, the production features Kym Marsh and Lisa Faulkner in the lead roles, supported by Andro, Jonny McGarrity, and Amy Snudden. The narrative examines how far people will go to find family and belonging, combining dark humour with psychological tension throughout.
