Sinfonia Viva’s New Year’s Eve Gala

Sinfonia Viva presents their New Year's Eve Gala on Saturday 10 January 2026 at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham. This annual celebration, now in its thirtieth year, features conductor Nicholas Kok leading the orchestra through a programme connected by themes of magic and enchantment.

Pianist Konya Kanneh-Mason joins as guest artist, performing Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2 (Movements 1 & 2). The concert programme includes works by Dukas, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, and Vaughan Williams, alongside traditional Viennese dances and waltzes. The evening concludes with Auld Lang Syne as audiences welcome the New Year.
