Live at Lunch presents an afternoon of classical music featuring violinist Ailsa Burns and pianist Joel Banerjee. Both musicians trained at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, bringing accomplished chamber performance to the Theatre Royal stage.
Ailsa Burns, a Loughborough-based violinist, completed her undergraduate studies in 2023 and co-founded the performance groups NOMAD and K'in Ensemble. She serves as an Ambassador for the Benedetti Foundation. Joel Banerjee, a Masters graduate from RNCM, works as a collaborative pianist with chamber ensembles and teaches at the King's School in Macclesfield.
The performance takes place Friday 20 March 2026 at 1:00pm. Tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the day. Access to the Dress Circle foyer opens at 12:15pm with unreserved seating. The Yarn Bar on the ground floor and the theatre bar will be open from 12pm for refreshments.
