Fawlty Towers returns to the stage fifty years after its original television debut. This new theatrical adaptation has been created by John Cleese and directed by Caroline Jay Ranger, bringing the beloved British sitcom to life with a cast of eighteen performers. The production features familiar characters including the bumbling Basil, Major Gowen, and Polly Sherman as they navigate the comedic chaos of hotel management.
Following a successful West End run, the play comes to the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall with performances on Tuesday 2 June 2026. Tickets are available from £25.50. The production combines the sharp writing and physical comedy that made the original series memorable.
