The Sir John Borlase Warren recently closed for eight days in early January to carry out essential and cosmetic improvements inside the pub. While a small amount of external work is still being completed, the venue is now very nearly finished and looking better than ever.

On Saturday 7th February, the pub will be celebrating the refresh with a relaxed relaunch party, featuring live music from Mark James from 9pm.

Guests can expect an excellent range of drinks, including 10 real ales and at least 10 craft beers from independent breweries, alongside wines, spirits and alcohol-free options. The pub is home to two bars, including The Dog & Thief, a dedicated craft beer shed offering an impressive choice.

Throughout the evening there will be complimentary tasters of the pub’s Roman sourdough pizzas, plus a local artist creating free caricatures for guests to take home.
