To celebrate our 30th Anniversary and the 30th Crime Club event, we’re taking a step back in time! We’re bringing back our very first Crime Club event from 2019. If you missed it six years ago, here’s your chance to experience it again; this time with the added drama of a PowerPoint presentation sharing maps, images, and evidence from the crimes!
Join us as we uncover the stories of three notorious figures of 18th-century Nottingham:
- - Timothy Buckley, the feared highwayman
- - William Horne, the man who got away with murder for 25 years
- - James Brodie, the brutal blind beggar
Each lived a life steeped in crime and infamy, and each ultimately met the same grim end on the gallows.
