Come and give your laughter muscles a work out with three great acts from Nottingham and beyond performing hilarious scenes and games for your amusement. Based on YOUR suggestions these funny performers will spontaneously create never to be seen again comedy sketches you won’t want to miss! Join us downstairs in the Malt Cross for a Wednesday evening filled with lots of fun, laughter and a bit of silliness!

Enter Player 2

A video game, created and acted out live on stage! Follow the experiences of two players, as the game you devise unfolds before you. Whether they’re facing the Almighty Cepheus at the end of Astroworld, or decking each other in Punch-up Alley, this show is bound to be a critical hit!

Creatives

Creatives is the Nottingham New Theatre’s student-run acting group specialising in original shows typically spoofing popular TV and film genres. The creatives are really excited to bring their short form act to the external community for the first time.

Smash Night Social Club

We take guests from around the Nottingham improv scene, throw them together, and watch them spin your suggestions into scenes and stories, characters and creatures, myths and monsters! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you may even find yourself questioning everything you ever knew… Only one thing’s for certain when these guys hit the stage: you ain’t in Kansas any more, punk!
