About this event
Mista Shotta brings three decades of DJing experience to The Malt Cross for this live social event. An established presence on the Nottingham music scene since 1992, he curates sets drawing from funk, soul, disco, Northern Soul, jazz-funk, Latin, Afrobeat, house and hip-hop—selecting tracks that share a common groove and soulful character.
Having collaborated with numerous club night and free party collectives throughout his career, including Rumpshaker, Tribal Unity and Ghostfoot, Mista Shotta spent a significant decade with Fever, where he helped define their signature percussive blend of jazz-funk, Afro-Latin and house music across various Nottingham venues.
