About this event

Mista Shotta brings decades of DJ experience to The Malt Cross for this live social event. A fixture on the Nottingham scene since 1992, he curates sets drawing from funk, soul, disco, northern soul, jazz-funk, latin, afrobeat, house and hip-hop—genres united by their rhythmic and soulful character. His extensive history includes residencies with respected collectives such as Rumpshaker, Tribal Unity and Ghostfoot, alongside a ten-year tenure with Fever, known for its eclectic jazz-funk, afro-latin and house nights across multiple Nottingham venues.
