Mista Shotta brings decades of experience to The Malt Cross, having been a fixture on Nottingham's DJ circuit since 1992. His sets draw from a diverse palette of genres united by soulful and funky elements, spanning funk, soul, disco, northern soul, jazz-funk, latin, afrobeat, house and hip-hop.
Over his career, Mista Shotta has been involved with several influential club collectives including Rumpshaker, Tribal Unity and Ghostfoot. His most notable residency was with Fever, where he spent a decade curating nights that blended percussive jazz-funk, afro-latin and house influences across various Nottingham venues.
