Mista Shotta brings three decades of DJ experience to The Malt Cross, having been a fixture on Nottingham's music scene since 1992. His sets draw from a diverse palette of genres including Funk, Soul, Disco, Northern Soul, Jazz-Funk, Latin, Afrobeat, House and Hip-Hop, united by their rhythmic groove and soulful character.

A veteran of numerous club collectives across the city, including Rumpshaker, Tribal Unity and Ghostfoot, Mista Shotta is perhaps best known for his decade-long residency with Fever, where he helped define the percussive Jazz-Funk, Afro-Latin and House sound that became synonymous with Nottingham's nightlife.
