Mista Shotta brings three decades of experience to The Malt Cross, establishing himself as a respected fixture in Nottingham's DJ community since 1992. His eclectic sets draw from funk, soul, disco, Northern Soul, jazz-funk, Latin, Afrobeat, house and hip-hop, selecting tracks that share a common thread of soulful energy.
Over the years, Mista Shotta has been instrumental in several notable club nights and collectives across the city, including Rumpshaker, Tribal Unity and Ghostfoot. His most sustained project was with Fever, where he spent a decade curating percussive jazz-funk, Afro-Latin and hip-hop nights across multiple Nottingham venues.
