Mista Shotta brings three decades of experience to The Malt Cross, having established himself as a respected fixture on the Nottingham DJ scene since 1992. Drawing from a diverse musical palette, he crafts sets that blend funk, soul, disco, northern soul, jazz-funk, Latin, afrobeat, house and hip-hop, united by their groove and rhythm.
A veteran of multiple club collectives including Rumpshaker, Tribal Unity and Ghostfoot, Mista Shotta spent a decade with Fever, whose nights became known for their fusion of percussive jazz-funk, afro-latin and house sounds across Nottingham venues. This event offers an evening of carefully selected music from an artist with genuine depth of knowledge and passion for soul-driven sounds.
