Posturing brings cinematic folk music to The Grove, fronted by Laura Durdey. Their debut EP Ephemera, released in 2025, combines melancholic and hopeful songwriting that resonates on both universal and personal levels. This intimate Nottingham gig offers an opportunity to experience the band in a gallery setting before potential larger venues.
Support comes from Neev, a Glasgow-based singer-songwriter now based in London, whose debut album How Things Tie in Knots explores dark alt-rock territories. Also performing is Maria Mihailik, a Ukrainian-born songwriter based in South East London, whose writing draws influences from classic songwriters while maintaining a distinct contemporary voice. Her forthcoming record showcases intricate vocal work and lyrical depth shaped by a multilayered life experience.
