About this event
ME REX comprises Myles McCabe on guitar, keys and vocals, Phoebe Cross on drums and vocals, and Rich Mandell on bass, keys, vocals and production. Based between London and Brighton, the trio has developed a distinctive musical identity through two double EPs and one album, blending introspective songwriting with dynamic instrumentation and layered soundscapes.
The band explores themes of friendship, forgiveness, loss and joy through their work, incorporating influences from art, mythology and ancient narratives. ME REX approaches songwriting with creative freedom, moving beyond conventional genre boundaries and song structures to craft something that resonates with contemporary audiences.
