Dekker is the solo project of American songwriter Brooklyn Dekker, based in Nottingham. Following years of international touring with indie folk duo Rue Royale and the Lambert & Dekker collaboration, Dekker has developed a distinctive solo path characterised by intimate songwriting and genuine emotional connection.
Since 2019, Dekker has released four albums and an EP, accumulating over 250 million streams globally. Drawing influence from artists including José González, Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver, his music blends indie folk, slow-burning pop and reflective songwriting into a voice distinctly his own. With more than 2000 concerts across Europe over eighteen years, Dekker's live performances are known for their intimate quality, combining guitars, stories and honest emotional openness.
Recent years have brought sold-out European tours and strong support from radio and editorial playlists. At its core, the Dekker project prioritises connection over spectacle, offering songs as companionship and music as a means of deeper self-understanding. Support to be confirmed.
