The Grove presents an evening of dark, cinematic contemporary folk music featuring three distinctive artists. Chimehours, a collaboration between songwriters Beck Goldsmith and Jon Dix, explores folk horror and supernatural themes through ethereal minimalism and retro cinema influences. Their 2025 debut album Undernearth The Earth demonstrates their haunting, evocative approach to songwriting.
Leeds-based artist Greet performs solo using harmonium and voice to create contemplative folk pieces that channel emotion through rich, dark soundscapes. R.Loomes completes the bill with sparse guitar compositions and poetic vocals, crafting atmospheric folk music with melodic depth.
