Hart Fest is an all-day music event taking place on 25th April at The Commercial Inn, Beeston, held in memory of local musician Michael Hart. The event is about bringing people together through music while raising awareness and support for mental health charities, including Mind and Music Minds Matter.
The day begins with an open mic session from 2–4pm, open to absolutely everyone — whether you want to perform or just enjoy the atmosphere. From 4–11pm, the event will transition into a full live music lineup, showcasing local artists in a more gig-style setting.
Alongside the music, there will be a message board for people to write their names, share messages to Michael, or reflect on their own experiences.
There will also be vinyl records for people to sign or leave personal messages on, creating a lasting tribute.
Entry is completely free. There will be merchandise available to purchase, along with other opportunities to donate, with all proceeds going directly to the charities.
Above all, Hart Fest is about remembering Michael, celebrating local music, and creating a space where people can connect, reflect, and support one another.
