Humbird presents "Right On," the third full-length album from Siri Undlin, exploring themes of uncertainty and resilience in contemporary life. Recorded live to tape in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the project marks a shift toward electric rock arrangements while maintaining the experimental sensibilities audiences have come to expect from the project.
Working with producer Shane Leonard and collaborators Pat Keen and Pete Quirsfeld, Undlin crafts songs that engage with current events, personal heartbreak, and environmental concerns through Midwest Americana influences. Tracks including "Child Of Violence," "Cornfields and Roadkill," and "Song For The Seeds" address themes of systemic injustice and land stewardship with lyrical directness and sonic texture. Following earlier releases "Pharmakon" and "Still Life," "Right On" continues Undlin's evolution as a songwriter and bandleader.
