Mangata Music presents The Five Hundred, a Nottingham-based heavy metal band known for blending metalcore with djent and progressive influences. The lineup features John Woods-Eley on vocals, Mark Byrne and Paul Doughty on guitars, Andy Crawford on bass, and Kelsey James on drums, delivering intricate compositions and powerful musicianship.
The band's discography includes their 2018 debut album Bleed Red, exploring themes of personal struggle, followed by A World On Fire in 2021. Their third album, Ghost Writer, released in 2025, presents a post-apocalyptic narrative examining themes of survival and societal collapse through technically proficient and thematically driven compositions.
Special guests Asleep at the Helm will perform alongside The Five Hundred on this evening.
